Larimar Light Blue Gemstone Beads (4mm)

Sometimes known as the "Atlantis stone", Larimar is said to calm fear and stress.  It connects us to the femine side of nature and is especially good to keep close during and post pregnancy.

Larimar was discovered in 1916 by Miguel Mendez who named the stone for his daughter "Larissa" and combined it with the Spanish word for the sea - "Mar".   It is a relatively rare gemstone and is only found in the Dominican Republic.
