These lovely earrings are modelled on Autumn leaves. The lower "leaf" is attached with a loop allowing it to "move in the breeze". This ensures that the gold plating catches the light and shines in different angles.
Just like real leaves, these are not "perfect" and have ridges and raised portions that give them character and interest.
