These hair clips are designed to hold hair securely.  They have 6 tines on the comb and a strong spring.  The design of these clips ensures that they lay flat against the head and are ideal if you are driving or have a chair with a high head rest.

The hair clip is photographed against a Resene colour chart and the colour "Greige" seems to be the closest in colour to this hair clip.  It is a slight stone colour with a hint of brown.
